Kwan Cheuk Heen –A Taste of Wellness” Summer Cuisine

 

Chef Ki, Executive Sous Chef – Chinese has designed a healthy and tasty menu with a series of Chinese herbs and nourishing ingredients, such as Fish Maw, Fleeceflower roots, Chuan Bei, Ginseng and Red Dates, bringing both gastronomic and nutritional benefits to health conscious eaters this Summer.

 

Steamed Yoghurt Milk with Mashed Chicken, Snow Fungus and Han Chrysanthemums – Chrysanthemum is a natural coolant that helps in lowering the temperature of the body when suffering from fever. This is also helpful in treating pimples and acne. Snow Fungus is an immune stimulant that may help to lower levels of cholesterol, protect the liver, fight inflammation and delay ageing. With the combination of chicken and yogurt, this dish suits gourmets of all ages.

 

Poached Mustard Green Tender Vegetables stuffed with Mashed Shrimps and Fresh Ginseng – Ginseng is a significant source of antioxidants which halt the formation of free radicals. It can also reduce the levels of stress and increase energy levels. Lily bulb nourishes Yin and moistens lung. It can also clear heart heat and calm spirit, thus is a perfect dish for those who lead a stressful life in a modern city.

Le 188˚ Restaurant & Lounge  Wild Mushroom & Oyster Opulence

 

A series of sumptuous wild mushroom and oyster dishes are now presented at Le 188° Restaurant & Lounge including jet-fresh oysters from France and Japan. Among the various oyster delicacies, guests can also enjoy the unique taste of Cordyceps, Morel, Porcini and Girolles mushrooms. Chef’s recommendations are Fresh scallop and French Din de Claire Oysters, Three Way French White Pearl Oysters and Roasted US Pork Tenderloin and Japanese Oyster.
